What's in it

Ten plugins you won't find in plain Discord. The last three stay off until you turn them on in Settings.

  • Larp Modeon

Choose a character for a channel with the mask button next to the message box, and your messages go out under their name. Wrap a line in *asterisks* for an action, or start it with (( to talk as yourself.

    /larp as name:Sir Reginald

  • Dice Rolleron

Keep and drop, advantage, percentile, or six stat rolls in one go. Dropped dice get crossed out and a natural 20 is called out. Secret rolls are only shown to you.

    /roll 6x4d6dl1

  • Timezoneson

Right-click someone and set their time zone. From then on their local time shows next to their name, like "4:15 AM tomorrow".

    /time

  • Ghost Ping Detectoron

If someone pings you and then deletes or edits the message, you get a notification with who it was and what they wrote.

    /ghostpings

  • Text Effectson

Twelve styles, among them small caps, gothic, upside down and zalgo. Mentions and links keep working.

    /fx style:gothic

  • Quote Toolson

Adds Quote to the message menu. It works across servers and links back to the original. Select part of a message first to quote only that.

  • Session Statson

Counts your active time, voice time and messages per day, and can remind you once you pass a daily limit you set.

    /stats

  • Keyword Alertsoff

Pick words or regex patterns and get a notification when they come up in any server, even in channels you never open.

    /keywords add

  • Privacy Bluroff

Blurs Discord when you switch to another window, go idle, or press Ctrl+Shift+L.

  • Quiet Hoursoff

Sets Do Not Disturb on a schedule, for example 23:00 to 08:00 on weeknights, then puts your old status back.

The other __PLUGIN_COUNT__

All included. Most start switched off; turn on the ones you want in Settings, Larpcord, Plugins.

Install

Your Discord account works the same everywhere. Larpcord only changes the app you use it in.

  1. Download LarpcordSetup.exe and open it.
  2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. That warning shows up because the installer isn't code-signed.
  3. Click Install. Discord restarts, and its settings now have a Larpcord section.

To remove it, open LarpcordSetup.exe again and click Uninstall.

Android

larpcord.apkapp
  1. Download larpcord.apk on your phone and open it.
  2. Android asks whether to allow installs from your browser. Allow it, then tap Install.
  3. Open Larpcord and log in to Discord.

Needs Android 9 or newer. It runs Discord's web version with Larpcord added, so notifications only come in while the app is open or in the background.

  1. Install the Tampermonkey extension in Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
  2. Click larpcord.user.js. Tampermonkey opens and asks whether to install it.
  3. Open discord.com/app.

Handy on computers where you can't install programs.

Questions

Can Discord ban me for this?
Client mods are against Discord's Terms of Service. We don't know of anyone being banned just for using one, but it's your account, so it's your call.
How do I remove it?
On Windows, open LarpcordSetup.exe and click Uninstall. If you had another mod installed before Larpcord and its files are still there, it comes back; otherwise you get plain Discord. On Android, uninstall the app.
Does it update itself?
No. When there's a new version, download it here and install it over the old one. Your settings stay where they are.
Is it made by Discord?
No. Larpcord is an independent project and has nothing to do with Discord Inc.
