Terms of use
The rules for this site, and the ones that apply if we end up working together.
1. What this site is
https://larprober.github.io is the portfolio of an independent developer working under the name larprober. It describes past work and advertises services. Nothing on it is a binding offer, and a page describing a service is not a contract for one.
2. Using the site
Read it, share it, link to it, quote it with attribution. Do not scrape it to impersonate me, do not republish the case studies as your own, and do not use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising.
3. The case studies
Case studies describe work that was actually built, including its limits. Technical details are given so you can judge the work. They are not instructions, and following one does not guarantee the same result on your machine.
4. Code shown here
Public repositories linked from this site carry their own licences, and those licences govern, not this page. Snippets shown inside a case study are illustrative. If code is provided without a stated warranty, it is provided as it is.
5. Project work
Any actual project is governed by the written quote agreed before it starts. That quote defines the scope, the price, the delivery date and what counts as done. Where a quote and this page disagree, the quote wins.
6. Ownership
On full payment, the work produced for you is yours, including its source. Tools, libraries and techniques I brought to the project remain mine to reuse. Third party components stay under their own licences, and the handover lists them.
7. Liability
Software is delivered to do what the quote says it does. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost data. Any liability that does apply is limited to the amount paid for the work in question. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot legally be removed.
8. Links to other sites
Links leave for GitHub, npm and similar services. Those are theirs, not mine, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you arrive.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Where you have consumer rights under the law of your own country, those rights still stand.
10. Changes
These terms can change, and the date at the top says when they last did. A change never applies retroactively to a project already quoted or under way.
Privacy policy covers what happens to anything you send through this site.
